I just wanted to commend you folks on your fantastic job.
I’ve been a chow owner for years and you guys have me the absolute best dog I’ve ever owned in my life, Odin. I picked him up in December of 2020 and I can’t remember the pair he came from but not only is he the best looking chow I’ve ever owned, but he has the personality of a golden retriever.
He stops the show and commands attention no matter where he goes. He is so soft, so sweet, and so so so gentle. He does great with our other chow and our 3 cats.
I believe you mentioned that he was one of the first litters your sons took the responsibility of taking care of, and they did a great job with socializing him. He honestly might not even be what you were hoping because I believe if push came to shove and he needed to protect me he might instead cower behind me, but that might also be because I spoiled him and he’s never been taught how to be a guard dog.
Either way, moving forward I only will use you guys moving forward. Thank you for bringing me so much light and joy in my life. I wish I could copy him.
May 2022 my husband and I purchased a puppy Link, he is now Caleb Poo Bear. I called you once concerning digestive issues but his system seems to be good now with the right food. Caleb is different from our previous chows who were also from a champion blood line and wonderful dogs. Caleb is very much a hunter and has been challenging in training but, with helpful advice from the AKC, he is becoming an incredible dog. He is gentle, loyal, loving, playful, loves children and people with disabilities, extremely agile for a chow, ferocious sounding watch dog, extremely intelligent and quick to learn. My husband had had several strokes when we purchased Caleb and has since died this past May. Caleb brought such joy to him and even during some of his therapy, Caleb was allowed to accompany us into the rehabilitation hospital and was a joy to so many people there because of his affection, quiet behavior, beauty and ease around wheelchairs, walkers and with handicap patients. He would lie quietly near my husband’s wheelchair during therapy. We were urged to have him certified as a service dog. He is not 2 years old yet, but his friendliness and behavior stands out where ever he goes and what a companion to me. He is one of God’s beautiful creations that you so well socialized and handled in your breeding. Thank you so much. Vicki Narup
